I’m glad to say that last week, two of my friends and I
made up for the How to Train Your Dragon
marathon that got canceled at the last minute on the one-year anniversary of
the release of How to Train Your Dragon 2. It went a little different than originally
planned, though.
Hello! I am a guy who enjoys writing, has a fascination with dragons, and is a How to Train Your Dragon fan. This is my blog where I post about thoughts, opinions, and experiences related to dragons and How to Train Your Dragon. What I post on this blog tends to be related to dragons more than How to Train Your Dragon, as I feel that I have more things to say about dragons than How to Train Your Dragon. Please feel free to leave comments.

Happy How to Train Your Dragon 2 Day!
Happy How to Train
Your Dragon 2 Day! It’s hard to
believe that it’s been one year since How
to Train Your Dragon 2 was released in the United States. Still, it’s one of my favorite films and my
feelings about it haven’t changed since the first time that I watched it.
How am I celebrating this day? Well, my original plan was to have two of my
friends over, eat pizza, and watch How
to Train Your Dragon and How to Train
Your Dragon 2 back-to-back (because one of said friends hasn’t watched How to Train Your Dragon yet) – and I
had all that planned one-and-a-half weeks in advance. We were going to do it all in the evening, so
I spent the day doing other things (surfing the Internet, writing part of a
poem that I've been working on, and listening to music in particular).
Sadly, at the last minute, I found out that my friends weren’t feeling
well, so my original plan to celebrate this day ended up not happening. We plan on making up for it on a later day,
though.
Even though my original plan to celebrate this day ended up not happening in the end, I’m still going to celebrate it by watching How to Train Your Dragon 2. :)

Seeing How to Train Your Dragon Mentioned in a Very Unlikely Place
While this really doesn’t have that much to do with How to Train Your Dragon or dragons, I felt like posting it anyways.
Recently when I was reading through the comments of something, I saw a comment that said that all that you have to do is learn “How to Train Your Dragon”. Now, while I see comments like that when I read through comments of things that have to do with How to Train Your Dragon or have to do with dragons, what I was reading through the comments of this time had absolutely nothing to do with How to Train Your Dragon and had absolutely nothing to do with dragons.
What was I was reading through the comments of when I saw that comment? I was reading an online article about the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), which is a proposed regional “trade agreement” between the United States and 11 other countries that is currently being negotiated in secret. (If you want to know more about the TPP, Google it. As much as I’d like to say more about the TPP, this blog isn’t the place for it.)
Who knew that How to Train Your Dragon would be mentioned in the comments of something like an online article about the TPP? I certainly didn’t.
